Grand Prix Races, Games, and Food

Three types of races:

1. Trail Life Boys by Patrols - Official Rules

2. "Friends and Family" (youth) - Official Rules

3. "Renegade" Open to everyone -- "No Holds Barred" (Renegade Rules)

Trophies & Certificates:

• Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners at each Trail Life Patrol Level

• Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners for Friends/Siblings (Youth Only)

• 1st, 2nd & 3rd place Certificates for the Design Competition (Youth Only)

• 1st Place Trophy for Overall Speed while following the Renegade Rules

• And the Grand Prize -- 1st Place Trophy for Overall Speed while following the Official Rules (One Trophy overall)

This year's Design Competition categories are:

• Most Realistic Vehicle – Design your car to resemble a real-life vehicle such as a sports car, classic muscle car, construction vehicle, or even your family car, complete with realistic paint, details, and decals.

• First Responder & Service Vehicles – Build a car inspired by emergency or service vehicles like fire trucks, police cruisers, ambulances, or rescue vehicles that serve and protect the community.

• Military & Defense – Create a design based on military vehicles such as tanks, fighter jets, helicopters, or armored transport trucks, showcasing strength, service, and history.

• Outdoor Adventure & Exploration – Design your car to reflect the spirit of adventure, whether it’s an off-road Jeep, a rugged mountain explorer, a camping theme, or a kayak-inspired racer.

• Best Brick Build – Incorporate building bricks into your design or create a car that looks like it was built from bricks, adding a fun and creative twist.

• Wildlife & Creatures – Shape and paint your car to resemble an animal or creature, from a speedy cheetah to a fierce shark, a soaring eagle, or even a dinosaur or dragon.

• Space & Sci-Fi – Go beyond the stars with a rocket, UFO, futuristic spacecraft, or space rover design inspired by space exploration and science fiction.

• Games & Pop Culture – Bring your favorite video games, board games, movies, or characters to life with a design inspired by popular games or pop culture.

• All racers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite car design. This car will be awarded the Racer’s Choice Design Award.

Silent Auction

• We will have a Silent Auction as part of the Grand Prix.

• If you know a business/individual that would like to donate an item for the silent auction, please contact Tim.

• This has been a great fundraiser for the troop over the past few years.

• The donor will receive recognition during the event, and we can provide a receipt for the donation for tax purposes.
