The Facilities
For all who are able, you must stay in a tent. We will have a few bunk style beds available to us in a few adjacent cabins, but these will be reserved only for individuals who have need of them. No exceptions.
The tent sites are adjacent to about 5 cabins with the bunk beds. These cabins have showers, which we will all share as our bathhouse. I will work it out so that there are separate men and ladies "bathhouses". I have been told that other groups have done it this way and it works fine. There is electric in the cabins, but not at the tent sites. The tent sites are close enough that we could probably run and extension cord from a cabin out and into a tent. Also adjacent to the tent sites and cabins is a small indoor kitchen, and a large outdoor covered pavilion with picnic tables. That will be our mess hall, and we will have exclusive use of both.
Food
We will provide all meals beginning with Wednesday dinner through Sunday breakfast. We will provide snacks at night, during campfires. We will also provide all eating utensils.
Other Things You Should Bring
Sun Protection, Hat, Swimming Suit, Extra Towel for Swimming, Bug Spray, Smile. For other items to bring, consider "Mr. Steve's Camping Checklist". Please don't feel like you need to bring everything on that list, it is just to help you not forget something necessary.
